A woman was pronounced dead after she was found pinned by her vehicle in Central Islip early Wednesday, Suffolk County police said.

Investigators said the woman, Crystal Fuentes, 22, of Central Islip, was driving east on Motor Parkway at about 11:50 p.m. Tuesday when her 2003 Chevrolet Trailblazer skidded and overturned, coming to rest on the shoulder just east of Val-Ray Boulevard.

“It appears the car rolled over and she was ejected,” said Third Precinct Det. Sgt. Jeffrey Walker, who is handling the case.

There were no witnesses, but officers responded to the scene after a 911 caller reported seeing an unconscious person on the road about 12:02 a.m. Wednesday, police said.

Members of the Central Islip fire department tried to resuscitate Fuentes, who was taken to Southside Hospital in Bay Shore by Central Islip-Hauppauge Volunteer Ambulance and was pronounced dead, authorities said.
