Suffolk cops seek man who robbed Smithtown drugstore

Suffolk County detectives are investigating a robbery at a CVS drugstore in Smithtown Wednesday.

A man entered the store at 111 Terry Rd. wearing a mask at about 2 p.m., a spokeswoman said. He approached an employee and demanded drugs.

The man did not indicate he had a weapon, the spokeswoman said. He fled with unspecified property.

Canine units responded to the scene shortly afterward, but no arrests have been made.
