A woman was indicted in Suffolk on rape charges involving an underage male as the victim, authorities said.

Stacey Antos, 39, was arraigned Wednesday on three counts of third-degree rape and one count of endangering the welfare of a child, a misdemeanor, the Suffolk district attorney's office said.

The indictment stems from a May 29 incident, and Antos, of West Sayville, was arrested July 4, online records indicate.

Her attorney, Dan Driscoll of Bay Shore, declined to discuss details of the case but called Antos a "law-abiding, upstanding citizen" who had never been arrested.

He said she has two children, ages 14 and 11: "She's deeply involved in their lives and she's an excellent mother," Driscoll said.

Antos remained out on a $4,000 bond Thursday, the district attorney's office said, and a temporary order of protection for the victim was issued against her.
