Missing Commack teen Daniel Soares in touch with his family, Suffolk police say

A Commack teen reported missing has been in touch with his family, Suffolk County police said Sunday.
The family of Daniel Soares, 17, reported him missing after he disappeared Wednesday, News 12 Long Island reported.
Soares' family had posted fliers and messages on social media to try to locate him, according to the news report.
No other details were available.
