Homicide detectives investigating the Wednesday night discovery of a body in a parking lot next to a Huntington supermarket have said the death was "noncriminal."
Police would not give any other details and a Suffolk police spokeswoman said, "We do not comment on noncriminal investigations."
Police said officers were dispatched to the rear of a parking lot on New York Avenue after receiving a 911 call at 11:06 p.m.
At the scene Thursday was an outline of a body on the grassy area between two parked cars and under a giant wall mural.
