Deer Park man on cruise dies in Grand Cayman
A Deer Park man who was on a Caribbean cruise died after losing consciousness while swimming off Public Beach in Grand Cayman, police there said Friday.
Louis Janvier DeBiase, 81, was pulled from the water about 10:55 a.m. Thursday and given CPR by people on the beach, the Royal Cayman Island Police Service said in a statement.
He was pronounced dead on arrival at Cayman Islands Hospital, police said.
Police said the death was being investigated, "however, there would appear to be no suspicious circumstances surrounding the death."
