Diddy's Hampton home intruder pleads guilty

A Queens man charged with breaking into the East Hampton home of hip-hop superstar Sean Combs -- where he ate, slept, drank alcohol and used personal items -- pleaded guilty to criminal trespass Thursday and was sentenced to 120 days in jail.

Quamine T. Taylor, 30, of Springfield Gardens, who has been in the Suffolk Jail since his April 1 arrest, was released Thursday for time served, officials said.

An order of protection was also issued Thursday by Town Justice Lisa R. Rana for Taylor to stay away from Combs and his residences for five years.

Robert Clifford, a spokesman for Suffolk District Attorney Thomas Spota, said Taylor admitted that he took a train from Manhattan to East Hampton March 30, his birthday, went through an unlocked door into the multimillionaire's vacant residence and made himself at home.

It was the second time Quamine Taylor has broken into the house of the multi-Grammy Award-winner to party like a star, authorities said. Taylor was accused of trespassing at the home in 2001, when authorities said he was a 19-year-old from Brooklyn known as Quamine Wallace -- and when Combs had just changed his nickname from "Puff Daddy" to "P. Diddy."

This time, Taylor drank a bottle of liquor, used some Polo Blue aftershave and a toothbrush and went to sleep in an upstairs bedroom, Clifford said.

Taylor was discovered there after a housekeeper arrived, officials said, and police were notified.
