Three people were injured in a two-vehicle crash Saturday night in Dix Hills, authorities said Sunday.
Steve Silverman, a spokesman for the Dix Hills Fire Department, said the accident happened about 8:30 p.m. at Wolf Hill Road and Caledonia Road.
The three people suffered non-life-threatening injuries and were taken to Huntington Hospital by Dix Hills Rescue Squad ambulances, Silverman said.
He said five other people involved in the crash declined medical assistance. Dix Hills firefighters applied an absorbent material to the road for a fuel spill and secured both vehicles, Silverman said.
