DOT: Halesite roads to be closed for sewer pipe work

Parts of Creek Road and Hill Place in Halesite are to be closed round-the-clock to all but local traffic from 7 a.m. Wednesday through 7 a.m. Friday, weather permitting, to allow for the installation of a new sewer pipe, the state Department of Transportation said.

Creek Road is to be closed between Wall Street and Route 110, with Hill Place closed between Creek Road and Route 110, the state Department of Transportation said.

All vehicles other than those that are local will be detoured, the DOT said.
