Driver hurt as car flips in Sayville

A driver who flipped his vehicle during an early-morning one-car crash Wednesday in Sayville suffered minor injuries, Suffolk County police said.

The man, whose identity was not released, flipped the car on Foster Avenue at about 1 a.m., police said.

Police said he was taken to Stony Brook University Medical Center for treatment of minor injuries. It was not clear how the accident happened.
