A Massapequa Park woman was injured after she lost control of her sport utility vehicle early Wednesday, crashing into a utility pole on Wellwood Avenue in East Farmingdale, police said.

Suffolk County police said the woman, whose identity was not released, was transported to St. Joseph Hospital in Bethpage by East Farmingdale Fire Department Rescue.

Police said she suffered minor injuries.

The crash happened on southbound Wellwood Avenue just after midnight.

No one was charged.
