A Bay Shore man was arrested early Sunday and charged with driving under the influence of drugs and alcohol after crashing his car in West Babylon, Suffolk County police said.

Barry Turk, 68, was driving a 2007 Honda east on the Sunrise Highway service road near Teddy Place at 12:45 a.m. when the car struck a utility pole, fire hydrant and a street sign, police said.

Turk was arrested and charged with driving under the influence of drugs and alcohol combined, police said. There were no reports of injuries.
