Driver hurt when SUV overturns in Port Jefferson Station, cops say

The driver of a sport utility vehicle was taken to Stony Brook University Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries after the vehicle overturned on Nesconset Highway between Myrtle Street and Vincent Street in Port Jefferson Station on Tuesday night, March 29, 2017, Suffolk County police said. The driver of a sport utility vehicle was taken to Stony Brook University Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries after the vehicle overturned Tuesday night in Port Jefferson Station, Suffolk County police said.
Police said the one-vehicle crash occurred on Nesconset Highway between Myrtle Street and Vincent Street at 8:55 p.m.
The identity of the driver was not released. The injuries also were not disclosed.
