A Long Island Rail Road train was delayed Saturday night because a young driver made a wrong turn and got stuck on the tracks in Kings Park, authorities said.

Police helped the young man remove the car from the tracks near Indian Head Road and service was restored.

The 10:03 p.m. from Huntington due to arrive in Port Jefferson at 10:51 was 18 minutes late because of the vehicle, LIRR spokeswoman Deborah Runcie said.
