A Rockaway man stopped Thursday on the Southern State Parkway in Babylon faces drunken driving charges after he drove more than 100 mph, State Police said.

Dantes D. Rosas, 32, was driving a 2010 Volvo west on the parkway near Exit 32, Route 110, at about 11:15 p.m., reaching a speed of about 110 mph, police said. He was weaving in and out of traffic, police said.

When troopers pulled him over, Rosas was intoxicated and was arrested, police said.

Rosas provided a breath-analyzer reading of .10 percent after he was taken to the Farmingdale barracks, police said.

He is charged with DWI and several traffic violations, police said.

Arraignment information was not immediately available.
