A Port Jefferson woman faces drunken driving and drug charges after state troopers caught her going the wrong way in the Riverhead traffic circle, State Police said Friday.

Troopers stopped Jeanine Glass, 43, in a gray Hyundai late Wednesday after she entered the traffic circle at 10:35 p.m., police said.

Police "noticed obvious signs of intoxication," and Glass failed field sobriety tests, troopers said in a Friday news release.

Troopers searched the car and found a small amount of marijuana, marijuana paraphernalia and pills, police said.

Glass was charged with driving while intoxicated, driving while ability impaired by drugs, unlawful possession of marijuana, and criminal possession of a controlled substance, police said.

She is due in Town of Southampton Court on June 18.
