E. Moriches man injured in motorcycle crash
A 27-year-old man was critically injured Monday night when his motorcycle crashed into a wooded area along Montauk Highway in East Moriches, Suffolk County police said.
Shane Verity of East Moriches was taken to Brookhaven Memorial Hospital Medical Center in East Patchogue in critical condition after the crash at 11:10 p.m., police said.
Police said Verity was riding a 2001 Suzuki motorcycle eastbound on Montauk when he lost control and crashed into a wooded area on the south side of the road.
The investigation is ongoing.
