An East Northport man was arrested Tuesday night on an assault charge after two men were injured in an incident just before 8:15 p.m. at his home, one of those men stabbed, police said.

Jose Umanzor, 31, of 714 Fort Salonga Rd., faces a charge of second-degree assault with intent to cause injury, Suffolk County police said.

He is scheduled for arraignment Wednesday in First District Court in Central Islip.

Police said two other men in the home were taken to Huntington Hospital. Police identified the stabbing victim only as a 33-year-old man from East Northport. It was not immediately clear how the second victim was injured.

Police said only that the three men all know one another. The case remained under investigation on Wednesday.
