East Northport motorcyclist hurt in crash, Suffolk cops say
A motorcyclist was seriously injured when he collided with an oncoming vehicle in Greenlawn, Suffolk County police said.
James Neary, 52, of East Northport was riding a 2002 Yamaha heading south on Broadway at 10:35 p.m. Tuesday when he collided with a 2011 Hyundai driven by Daniel Stebbins, 21, of Greenlawn, police said.
Stebbins was driving north on Broadway and was attempting to make a left turn onto Aster Street at the time, police said.
Neary, who had a compound leg fracture and broken wrist, was taken to Southside Hospital in Bay Shore by the Greenlawn Fire Department, police said.
Stebbins was not injured, police said.
