Suffolk County police are investigating a bank robbery that occurred in Farmingville Monday afternoon.

Police said a man entered the Teachers Federal Credit Union branch at 2410 N. Ocean Ave. at about 3:40 p.m. The suspect approached a teller, produced a note demanding cash and fled on foot.

The robber is described as a thin male, between 30 and 35 years old, and between 5 feet, 8 inches and 5 feet, 10 inches tall. He had a goatee and was wearing tan-colored pants and a dark hooded sweatshirt, police said.
