Medford man killed in Brentwood car crash, cops say
A Medford man was killed Sunday after his car struck a utility pole in Brentwood, police said.
Luis Gonzalez Escobar, 22, was driving eastbound on Express Drive South near Brentwood Parkway when he lost control of his 2007 Scion, which struck the pole and overturned around 2:45 p.m., Suffolk police said.
Gonzalez Escobar was transported by Brentwood Legion Ambulance to Southside Hospital in Bay Shore, where he was pronounced dead, police said.
