A North Babylon man is dead after his car crashed into a parked vehicle and came to a stop in the yard of a Babylon home Sunday night, Suffolk County police said.

John Liccione, 41, was driving a 2021 Nissan Maxima north on Deer Park Avenue at 9:30 p.m. when he struck an unoccupied 2014 Toyota Rav 4. The Nissan then came to a stop in the front yard of the house next to where the Toyota was parked, police said.

Liccione was taken to Good Samaritan University Hospital in West Islip, where he was pronounced dead, police said. 

An investigation is ongoing.

Detectives are asking anyone with information on the crash to contact the First Squad at 631-854-8152.
