Police ID truck driver killed in Cold Spring Harbor crash

A pickup truck driver who ran off the road and died Sunday night in Cold Spring Harbor has been identified as Brendan Linson of Bayville, Suffolk County police said Thursday.
Linson, 33, was driving west on Main Street about 11:40 p.m. when his 1999 Ford F-350 veered off the road near Midland Street and hit several trees, police said.
He was pronounced dead at the scene, police said.
