Justin Digiovanna, of Shirley, killed in Sunrise Highway crash in Brookhaven, Suffolk police say

A Shirley man was killed in a single-vehicle crash on Sunrise Highway in Brookhaven early Saturday, Suffolk County police said.
Justin Digiovanna was driving a 2021 Mazda CX-5 east on Sunrise Highway at Horseblock Road when his SUV left the road and crashed into a wooded area on the south side of the highway around 3:50 a.m., police said in a news release.
Digiovanna, 23, was transported by South Country Ambulance to NYU Langone Hospital-Suffolk where he was pronounced dead.
The SUV was impounded for a safety check.
Suffolk police detectives are asking anyone with information on the crash to call the Fifth Squad at 631-854-8552.
