Fire burns through Ronkonkoma house

An early morning fire ravaged a two-story home in Ronkonkoma, fire officials said Friday.
The Lakeland Fire Department responded to a call at 7:19 a.m. for a fire on Fir Grove Road, Suffolk County fire rescue said.
The Ronkonkoma, Central Islip and Hauppauge departments also responded to the fire, about a block north of the westbound service drive of the Long Island Expressway.
