No one was injured and no other vehicles were damaged after the Huntington Manor Fire Department extinguished a pickup truck fire at St. Anthony’s High School in South Huntington early Monday, a department spokesman said.

Firefighters from the department responded to the parking lot off Pidgeon Hill Road at about 1:25 a.m. and quickly extinguished the fire in the Ford pickup, spokesman Steve Silverman said.

The engulfed Ford pickup was parked near school buses but they were not damaged; the blaze was put out under the direction of Second Assistant Chief Jon Hoffmann, the spokesman said.

Neither the department nor police had more information about the fire.
