Fire guts Bohemia home, no injuries reported

A fire fed by a natural gas line gutted a two-story house on Walnut Avenue in Bohemia Sunday night.

Responders from the West Sayville, Sayville, Bohemia, Bayport, and East Islip fire departments as well as Sayville Community Ambulance got the call for the fire on Walnut Avenue at 8:56 p.m.

Fire officials said everyone in the home was able to get out and there were no reports of injuries. The fire was fed by a natural gas line, officials said, though its cause remained under investigation.
