Multiple fire companies fight blaze in Kings Park home, officials say

The Kings Park Fire Department responded to a house fire in Kings Park on Sunday evening, a spokesperson from the Suffolk County Fire Marshal's Office said.
Firefighters were dispatched to the fire on Broadview Avenue at 5:25 p.m., the spokesperson said. The fire was under control by 6:05 p.m.
The Commack, Northport, Smithtown and East Northport mutual aid companies responded to the scene, according to the Fire Marshall's Office spokesperson. So did the Suffolk County Police Department and the Smithtown Town Fire Marshal.
There is no available information on whether there was an occupant in the home or the cause of the fire, the spokesperson said.
