Suffolk County and South Fork town officials are scheduled to meet in Montauk on Saturday to consider the future of Long Island's easternmost hamlet.
Concerned Citizens of Montauk, a civic and environmental group, has invited the officials to attend a forum titled "Montauk 2035, Planning for the 21st Century."
Scheduled to attend are Suffolk County Executive Steve Bellone, Southampton Town Supervisor Anna Throne-Holst and East Hampton Town Supervisor Larry Cantwell.
Topics of discussion are to include water pollution, coastal protection and other environmental issues, Concerned Citizens of Montauk officials said in a news release.
The forum, which is free and open to the public, is scheduled for 3 p.m. at the Montauk Firehouse on Flamingo Ave.
