Four people were arrested at a safety checkpoint early Sunday morning in North Babylon, Suffolk County police said.

Officers from the First, Second and Third precincts, along with the Highway Patrol SAFE-T section, set up the checkpoint on Deer Park Road from 1 a.m. and 3:15 a.m. to catch people who were driving while under the influence of alcohol or drugs.

The four who were arrested are: Richard Bruckner, 22, of Lindenhurst, Dana Wisniewiski, 55, of East Islip, and Jason Harper, 28, of Islip, were all charged with driving while intoxicated. Katelyn Clasper, 28, of West Babylon, was charged with aggravated driving while intoxicated.

All four are scheduled to be arraigned on Sunday at First District Court in Central Islip.
