A driver in Greenlawn was charged with driving under the influence of drugs Tuesday morning after he struck a parked vehicle Tuesday morning, pushing it into a gas station, then drove off and hit a fence, Suffolk County police said.

The driver had been traveling east on Little Plains Road at 8:14 a.m. when he crashed, by the intersection of Little Plains Road and Broadway, police said.

The man, identified as Roberto Lopez, 46, of 7 Little Plains Rd. in Huntington, was arrested and charged. He was taken to Huntington Hospital and police had no information on his condition.
