Gunmen sought in Eastport gas station robbery

Suffolk County Crime Stoppers and Seventh Squad detectives are searching for two gunmen who in March robbed an Eastport gas station.
Police on Thursday released photographs of the suspects, who held up the Valero station at 125 County Rd. 51 at about 12:03 a.m. March 23.
The men demanded cash and an employee handed over drawers from two cash registers, police said. The men then fled on foot.
The photographs were taken from video surveillance at the station that also shows the men pacing near the bushes on the east side of the building for about 20 minutes before the robbery, police said
Detectives think the suspects could be connected to another robbery at the same location on Nov. 12, 2012, police said.
