Gunmen sought in N. Lindenhurst robbery

Police are searching for two men who robbed a 7-Eleven in North Lindenhurst at gunpoint early Thursday, fleeing with cigarettes, cigars and cash.
The robbery of the store on Wellwood Avenue took place at 12:15 a.m., Suffolk County police said. Two clerks were in the store. Neither was injured in the robbery.
Police said the two men wore dark clothing and masks and each had a handgun.
No other details were immediately available.
