Half-marathon to close part of Nicolls Road
The Suffolk County Half Marathon will close Nicolls Road on Sunday morning between Holtsville and Centereach, police said.
Nicolls Road, or County Road 97, will be closed in both directions from 8 a.m. until noon, police said. The closing will be from the Long Island Expressway in Holtsville, Exit 62, to Mark Tree Road in Centereach.
Police said detours will be posted and motorists should choose alternate routes.
