Officials: No injuries in Centereach house fire

A private home in Centereach was badly damaged by fire, but there were no reported injuries, fire and police officials said.
The fire was reported at 11:09 p.m. in the home on Tree Road near Garden Lane, officials said.
Images from the scene showed flames shooting out the window of an upper floor and through the roof.
