House fire kills North Babylon man

A house fire in North Babylon that killed a man Monday was under investigation Tuesday by Suffolk County's Homicide and Arson squads, detectives said.
Police said a neighbor called shortly after 10 p.m. to report a fire on Peacock Lane.
After firefighters from the North Babylon Fire Department extinguished the fire, the body of homeowner Raymond Frank, 61, was discovered inside the house, near the front door, police said.
Frank's body was taken to the Office of the Suffolk County Medical Examiner. The cause of the fire has yet to be determined and the investigation was ongoing, police said.
