A 33-year-old Huntington man, stopped for driving 90 mph in a 55-mph zone on the Northern State Parkway late Wednesday night, was arrested and faces a driving-while-intoxicated charge, State Police said.

Dennis Edwards was charged with DWI as a Refusal after refusing to submit to a chemical test to determine his blood-alcohol content, police said. He also was charged with speeding. He was held overnight and faces arraignment Thursday in First District Court in Central Islip.

Police said Edwards was stopped by troopers just before 11 p.m. Wednesday on the Northern State in Huntington.
