Huntington man killed in head-on car crash

A Huntington man was killed Wednesday when his car crashed head-on into another car in Centerport, police said.
Robert Visser, 53, was driving a 1996 Honda Civic westbound on Route 25A when his car collided with a 2007 Mercedes-Benz driven by Gaby Gold, 45, of Fort Salonga at 7:30 p.m., police said.
Gold was transported to Huntington Hospital for treatment, police said.
