Woman struck by tow truck seriously injured, police say

A woman walking across a street in Huntington Station was seriously injured Thursday morning when she was struck by a tow truck, Suffolk County police said.
The victim, Bibiana Flores Morales, 51, of Huntington Station, was taken to Huntington Hospital.
She was crossing Depot Road at East Third Street when she was hit by the 2006 Ford tow truck, which Scott Rumpel, 40, was driving south on Depot Road.
The driver, from East Northport,. was not injured. The tow truck, owned by HCM Marine Transport, is being inspected, police said.
