Islip man found after Silver Alert

Suffolk County police have located an 80-year-old Islip man for whom they issued a Silver Alert early Tuesday.
Salvatore Zunno, who police said may be suffering from dementia, had been last seen Monday at 1:30 p.m. at his home on 40th Street, was found unharmed.
A Silver Alert allows police to share information with news outlets on people with special needs who have been reported missing.
