Cops: Kings Park man charged with DWI hit car, house in East Northport
A Kings Park man is facing a charge of driving while intoxicated after his car struck another vehicle in East Northport and then crashed into a nearby house early Saturday, Suffolk police said.
Jason Hewston, 35, was driving a 2010 Nissan Maxima eastbound on Pulaski Road about 4:45 a.m. when his vehicle struck the rear of another vehicle, police said. Hewston then drove off the road and struck a house on North Hill Drive, authorities said.
No one was injured in the crashes.
Hewston is scheduled to be arraigned Sunday in First District Court in Central Islip.
