The motorcyclist killed Friday in a collision on the hospital campus of Stony Brook University has been identified by police as a 36-year-old West Babylon man.

Jason Ross was pronounced dead at Stony Brook University Hospital after a collision with a red Ford Mustang about 8 a.m. on Health Sciences Drive.

Police said the cause of the crash does not appear to be criminal. The driver of the other vehicle was not injured.

Both motorists worked for the hospital. Ross was leaving work, and the other driver was going to work when the crash occurred, police said Friday.
