Jeep driver hits deer, then pole in Mount Sinai, police say

A woman driving a Jeep late Sunday in Mount Sinai struck a deer and then a pole, Suffolk County police said.
Police said the driver was not seriously injured.
The woman was driving near Echo Avenue and Route 25A at about 11:50 p.m. when she hit the deer, police said.
