Jimmy Espinal, 24, of Bay Shore, killed in Brentwood motorcycle crash, cops say

A Bay Shore man was killed after he lost control of his motorcycle in Brentwood early Sunday, Suffolk County police said.

Jimmy Espinal, 24, was riding a 2002 Honda motorcycle south on First Street at 4:20 a.m. when he lost control as he tried to make a turn at Ninth Avenue, police said.

He crashed into a curb, then a road sign and a fence, and was pronounced dead at the scene, according to police.

The motorcycle was impounded for a safety check. Anyone with information about this crash is asked to call the Third Squad at 631-854-8352.
