Suffolk police charge Bay Shore man with DWI with 9-year-old daughter in car
A Bay Shore man was charged Saturday night with driving while intoxicated with his 9-year-old daughter in the vehicle, Suffolk County police said.
About 10:20 p.m. Saturday, First Precinct patrol officers responded to a call about a possibly intoxicated driver of a black Toyota 4-Runner in Babylon. When the officers stopped the vehicle on westbound Sunrise Highway near North Hamilton Avenue in Lindenhurst, they found the driver was intoxicated, and his daughter was in the front seat, police said.
