Suffolk County police Sunday arrested a woman and charged her with fatally stabbing her boyfriend in Huntington Station.

Kutima Glover, 33, of Huntington Station, was charged with first-degree manslaughter in the death of Larry Collins.

Collins was found on the front lawn of the Wyman Avenue home he shared with Glover early Saturday morning by officers responding to a 911 call reporting a disturbance. He was suffering from stab wounds to his abdomen following a "physical altercation," police said.

Collins, 38, was alive when officers arrived, but he was pronounced dead after he was taken to Huntington Hospital, police said.

Collins' mother, Juanita Culbertson, said her son had dated Glover for about six years, and that Collins had helped to take care of Glover's two children, aged 8 and 13.

Culbertson had no immediate comment Sunday night after Glover's arrest.

Glover was scheduled to be arraigned Monday at First District Court in Central Islip.
