Legis. Browning: No interest in succeeding Zeldin
Suffolk Legis. Kate Browning's name has surfaced as a potential State Senate candidate to succeed GOP incumbent Lee Zeldin, who's running for Congress. But she said she has no interest in seeking the seat.
"I couldn't see myself doing it," said Browning (WFP-Shirley). "I'm not a very patient person and I don't know if I would handle Albany very well," she said, citing how long it can take to get laws passed. "And I'm not sure that Albany would like me." -- Rick Brand
