Let the donor beware
If you want to give
DO RESEARCH. Investigate the charity and its financial filings. Ask for written materials when solicited by a
telemarketer.
STAND FIRM. Don't feel pressured to say "yes" to telemarketers who call you.
STAY SHARP. Be cautious about charities whose names sound familiar to other established charities.
