Firefighters respond to a crash Tuesday, Jan. 30, 2018, that propelled a vehicle into the brush off the Long Island Expressway's north service road in Holtsville. Credit: Christoper Sabella

There was a two-vehicle collision Tuesday night on the Long Island Expressway’s north service road in Holtsville, Suffolk County police said.

The collision was reported at 8:08 p.m. on Expressway Drive North near Morris Avenue, police said Wednesday morning, but there was no information on possible injuries or the cause of the crash.

Images from the scene showed one badly damaged vehicle in a brush-filled area off the roadway.
