LIE service road reopens in Commack

The eastbound service road on the Long Island Expressway near Wicks Road in Commack was closed for about 90 minutes Wednesday afternoon after a woman overturned the sport utility vehicle she was driving, Suffolk County police said.
Police said the woman overturned the SUV shortly after noon, on the south service drive. She was airlifted to Stony Brook University Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, police said.
No other injuries were reported and no other vehicles were involved in the accident, police said.
The eastbound service road was closed to traffic until 2:08 p.m., according informny.com, the state Department of Transportation's website.
